DrYann Le Duff did his PhD at the University Paris Diderot on the role of the Hepatitis B Virus envelope proteins during morphogenesis and viral entry. He then conducted postdoctoral research at McGill University in Montreal within the laboratory of Dr Chen Liang where he studied LINE1 retrotransposition and the function of the HIV restriction factors IFITMs. Since 2014, he joined the Centre for AIDS Reagent in the UK to lead the development of the repository.
Yann Le Duff 博士毕业于巴黎第七大学，期间研究乙肝病毒入侵时包膜蛋白的作用机制。随后，他在加拿大蒙特利尔市的麦吉尔大学的梁臣实验室做博士后研究，期间主要研究LINE1反转录机制以及IFITMs宿主蛋白抑制HIV病毒复制的机制。2014年以来，他供职于英国艾滋病试剂中心，主要工作职责是建立和发展病原微生物相关的试剂数据库。
