Dr Po-Lin Chan is the Advisor for Hepatitis, HIV and STI at the World Health Organization China country office. Po-Lin is a medical doctor trained in obstetrics and gynaecology, tropical medicine as well as epidemiology. She has worked across a variety of health settings spanning Africa, South Asia and East Asia from delivering medical and surgical services to communities suffering from war, to advising government on public health initiatives. Passionately committed to health for all people, she was instrumental in the establishment, scale-up and decentralisation of the comprehensive HIV/STI prevention, treatment and care programme in India during her service as the Team Leader HIV/STI at WHO India.
Po-Lin Chan博士，世界卫生组织（WHO）中国代表处有关肝炎、艾滋病和性病防治顾问。Po-Lin是一位临床医师，曾接受过妇产科、热带医学和流行病学方面的培训。她曾在非洲、南亚和东亚地区多个卫生领域工作过，为那些饱受战争摧残的群体提供内外科医疗服务，并且积极推动政府在公共卫生领域所采取的行动。她一直不遗余力地致力于提高大众健康的工作，在任职WHO印度办公室艾滋病/性病组组长期间，为推进印度艾滋病/性病预防、治疗及关怀项目的开发、扩大方面发挥了重要的作用。
